Choices and ONE IMPORTANT DECISION

This particular posting will be harder and more painful than the others. It will be coming from a place of pain and heartache. You know that place inside that hurts when the news comes that a loved one or friend has died. There are no words that can take it away, but only help to handle or deal with it better. I found myself going into the book of Deuteronomy to help with the grief part of the pain. Grief can overtake you during this painful time and it will open the door to other ills such as depression and abundant sadness to come in and take over. So I went to The Holy Word to see what God said and then perhaps I could help someone who may need it. The Bible is such a GOOD BOOK that I can't make decisions and choices without KNOWING what IT says. So I search its pages and find wisdom for the difficulties in this life, and this is one at this time. I was led to Deuteronomy 34: 1-12 and there I see that Moses is about to die and that the children of God will have to grieve. Verse 8 states that they wept for Moses 30 days and the days of weeping ended. So we weep for our loved ones and then it is time to move on. It will be a process that has a place where it will be time to move forward. Until that time, there will be crying and weeping for the presence that will no longer be there.  This is the hurting part. It will take time to go through this part and we should be aware that it is normal to have this sadness, it hurts inside so much and there is nothing you can take or do to ease this kind of pain, only comfort it. In Joshua 1 , It was time to move on, after grieving for Moses,  and God told Joshua to raise up and take these people over  the Jordan and into the land I am giving them. What a loving God we have to know that HE doesn't leave us in the place of pain and heartache called grief, but moves us forward into newness and promises. This blog is entitled: CHOICES and ONE IMPORTANT DECISION and it is about the choice and the decision we make as we live. The choice and decision I want to zero in on is the most important one that will guide you as you live and certainly upon your death. That decision will be found several places in THE HOLY WORD, lets stay in Deutronomy and go to chapter 30 and examine it there first. Verse 15-20 states what the choice is:  life and good, death and evil (15 kj). Further down in verses 19-20 it is plain: God is speaking through Moses and He says" I call Heaven and Earth to record (witness) this day against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursings,  therefore choose life that thou and thou seed may live". He sets the choice before us, giving us free will to choose what we want, then because He loves us so much (John 3:16),  He tells us to choose life and the blessings that come with this choice. Thats like taking a multiple choice test and the teacher telling you which answers to select. Choose Life, Choose Life, Choose Life!!  The other choice is death and cursings,  why the hell would you choose that on purpose??? That is exactly what you do when you don't choose life.  Verse 6, a bit earlier in the chapter,   God says He will circumcise the heart and the heart of the seed  to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart and all thy soul,  that thou may live. There is a call on all of us and Jesus says in the new Testament to not harden your heart when you hear His voice. Then in Deuteronomy 30:20, to love Him and obey His voice (He is speaking, shhh listen!!) and cling to Him,  He is our Life and the Length of our days, as we dwell in this land of the living. A decision for Christ is a choice to live.  The Bible says this to all, ALL of us, and it is a whosoever decision.  Fast forward to the New Testament and the decision God made to send His Beloved Son into this world  to save us. This precious sacrifice without spot and blemish  came into this world to save us, not condemn us, John 3:16-17. Verse 18 makes it plain and clear, those that believe on Jesus  is not condemned but those that don't believe are already condemned. There again is our choice and it is most important to make the correct choice.  Your life depends on this IMPORTANT DECISION.  Perhaps you know all this, wonderful, this posting is not for you, I want those that don't know this and have not made a decision for Christ to read and at the very least ask questions and seek answers about God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Eternity, what happens next, how ever you want to term it,  but ask someone.  It is a life question, eternal life, because this is not the end and this life is not final.  We are ALL going somewhere(?) after this stop.  John 14:1-3, Jesus is speaking and He tells us " Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe in Me also,  In my Father's House are many mansions....., I go and prepare a place for you .......and I will come and receive you unto myself that where I am, there you may be also" Why is Jesus telling us to believe in Him also?   Because to get to God,  we will have to go through Jesus. John 14:6  Jesus says "I am The Way, The Truth, The Life: no man can come to the Father but by ME".  This is the ONLY way. The CREATOR of the universe said this is How it will be. No other god created anything so they can't tell you how to get to Heaven or any place else for that matter. The MAKER OF EVERYTHING gave us the information we will need to get to HIM, and He put many messengers in our midst to tell us what He said.  Be quiet and listen HE will speak to your Heart if you want Him to (Hebrews 11:6). Finally precious person, not all will accept the call.  In John 14:22 Judas (not the betrayer, the other Judas) ask Jesus why He wont manifest Himself to the whole world and only to them,  Jesus' answer was a telling one and almost bonechilling: verse 23-24 says Jesus answered and said "If a man love me,he will keep my words and My Father AND I will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not.... " So this sounds like there will be some who wont accept Jesus, when they hear the call and this is why they wont hear His words and follow Him. John 17, Jesus was praying to the Father before His betrayal, and I want to zoom in to verse  9 in the prayer. He says to God that He is not praying for the world, but for those that God has given Him, they belong to God and Jesus was praying for those only. It is sad to think that our Saviour was trying to be our Saviour in life and our choices and decisions that we freely made prevented that and as a result when it is time to go, (we don't know from one minute to the next what will happen), our future isn't assured.  My friend don't let this happen to you!!  Make a choice while there is still breath in your body to pray the prayer of faith  and be saved,  Romans 10:9-10. THIRSTY, HUNGER, NOURISHMENT!!!

Lately I have been in a thirsty mode that just wont relent.  It's like everytime I drink anything it just doesn't seem to quench my thirst for satisfaction. It has been that way with food as well. I have had some of the best food lately, wonderfully prepared and served to me,  tasty, down right finger lickin good, as my friend and yours the colonel, would say, but I am always left unsatisfied. I started to believe perhaps something was wrong physically. It dawned on me, or perhaps better than that,  a nudge from the Glorious Holy Spirit,  came word that,  you are attempting to fill an area with things that can only  be filled with My infilling.  By George, I think that is what is happening to me. I am trying to replace what is lacking right now, and as a result I am left thirsty and hungry, even after a great meal, and a drink of the best drink ever,  water. So what's a girl like me to do with this kind of dilemma on her hands?  I eat and eat  (great foods) and drink and drink and I am still so unsatisfied. That must not be the solution although you would tend to think so.  So I will go in another direction, for a solution instead of this one and seek out the answer. I need nourishment and the food and drink that I am taking in is delish, but not nourishing me as I need, cause I am left unsatisfied - spiritually.  That has to be it!!! It must be a Spiritual answer that I need to quench this deep thirst and insatiable hunger, I have.  I find that at this time for me, things are getting in the way (Mark 4:19) and preventing the needed nourishment from saturating my spirit.  Jesus talks a lot about this happening  in Mark 4 and in other places in the Holy Word.  He talks about the enemy stalking about as a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour. his devouring can come in the form of busyness so much so that God's Powerful, Almighty, Life Altering, Life filled,  Holy Word can get choked out,  creating a void.  A hunger and a thirst for Him that food and drink can't fix. This is happening to me,  what about you?  I am honest if nothing else, and I tell you the truth, I will not sit still for this.  I will turn this occurrance around and into a worship life that calls for my very soul to proclaim "HOW GREAT THOU ART,  GOD ALMIGHTY"!!!! Nothing can seperate God's love from me, and the enemy knows that, so he tries another way and that is through busyness. Well through that busyness, I shall be the loudest heart worshipper and praiser  ever!!  The heart meditation within will call on it's REDEEMER !! Psalm 118:14 says The Lord is my strength and song, and He has given me the victory.  I shall worship you God!! Psalm 37:7 states in part, Be still in the Presence of The Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act.... I will Praise You God!!!   Psalm 103:2 says Let all that I am praise The Lord, may I never forget the good things He does for me. I will Praise you God!!!!  1Corinthians 16:13-14 speak volumes, I will pick it  up in verse 14, it states ...and do everything with love.  I will Praise you Lord!!!!! The remedy I shall use on the enemy is to take his strategies that he is trying to use and choke him with them. The busyness that is happening, I may not be able to change at this time, however, the praise and worship can excel to such a high degree through it all that his plan will backfire.  I love that God says to me in Jeremiah 29:13 you shall seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.  As The Chaser , and author of this blog I made this decision a long while ago,  to seek God with all my heart,  as long as I have breath. When the breath leaves,  I shall rejoice cause as the scriptures say,  to be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord. What a great physical place that is going to be!!!   I shall Chase this relationship with all my heart and I shall find what I am longing for and that is My SAVIOUR!  even through the busyness!!!!!!!   There Is where my nourishment is and my thirst is satisfied and my hunger is filled.  Thank you Jesus,  You are everything I need in my time of thirst, hunger, and nourishment. HUMAN ANGELS---- IN, AROUND, AND AMONGST US

Seen any angels lately? They are in our atmosphere, around our beings and among us as we exist daily.  This is probably known by you all already,from reading the scriptures or hearing about them from other believers or in church, or what have you, but have you seen any lately? How about an encounter of some sort? Maybe something miraculous happened whereby you simply knew that it had to be from the supernatural realm. The bible says that we will see angels ascending and descending between heaven and earth (Gen.28:12, John1:51). How awesome!! They must be doing that for a reason or purpose.  But I am talking about the human factor and the human angel(s) interceeding and dispatching resources(shall  I say) when all strength has been exhausted. I can only talk about myself, so I will. Recently all my human strength and might had been tested and  pushed and it failed. I thought I had the plan and I was working this plan.  I prayed for the successful outcome and things seemed to be going along. It actually wasn't going well, I now know this from looking back on it. So when what I considered a catastrophe happened, all I could release from my anointed lips was "what am I going to do Lord?" Continueously I asked this question, for the rest of the day. Teaching in front of students, I could hear my spiritman ask over and over and over "what am I going to do Lord?" Smiling and greeting, using the bathroom, walking to buses, changing classes, riding in the car,  home on the phone, all I could ask is "what am I going to do Lord?" Over and over this same question.  Riding in the car home I heard a still small voice say "I'll handle it" but I kept up the chant (by now that is what it had become) and drowned out that voice.  We do that sometimes, would you agree? I was exhausted by the end of the day, but the question wasn't, so it continued coming out of my mouth till finally God put me to sleep (probably to shut me up). It was peaceful and the next thing that happened was the phone ringing, late. I answered it and in comes the human angel bringing the resources needed to fix what I thought was a catastrophe. I wasn't sure and still worried but some sort of peace came into me and a rest that made me settle down. (Hebrews 4:8-9) THANK YOU GOD!!! I know I am a faith filled believer, God has allowed me to teach our bible study and the subject He chose is faith. So I have intimate knowledge of faith. I walk by faith daily. Maybe it was shaken a bit but it never wavered.  So as time went on, this human angel brought in another human angel with resources, motivation and all out desire to solve a problem that had shut me down literally. I watched what was happening with awe and realized this had to be God moving in this situation, after He moved me and my chant out of His way. I went from "what am I going to do Lord?" to "my God, How great Thou art!" The human angels He used attacked the problem from every angle, and the solution was eminent. In the mean time, the possible inconvience was addressed as well. Looking back on this situation, I can hardly tell anything went wrong in the first place. Isn't that amazing. Our God is Faithful and those He uses-- the human angels-- are willing vessles with a crown of righteousness and joy covering them.  I left this situation wanting to be a human angel in this capacity just like the ones He used. I want to be like all of them in action, word, deed, dedication, care, concern,  and love. Cause me  to answer Your call Father God, when You need to dispatch an angel here on earth, and You know the right woman for the task.  I am so inspired and refreshed in having this happen in my life. God is good to us and He uses His special chosen ones for His purposes. THEY MUST BE HUMAN ANGELS IN, AROUND AND AMONGST US!! GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST HEAVEN, AMEN.    SELAH  God loves you, I love you, and JESUS is LORD!! Philippians 2,3,4.

RELATIONSHIP

You probably have tons of relationships, perhaps with friends, a spouse, your child(ren), family members, distant or near by, co-worker(s), neighbor(s), church members, club members, pen pals, a favorite waite person, or store clerk, doctor,mechanic, whoever, famous or infamous, what have you, but some sort of connection in which a communication of some type takes place. I have many favs, especially in the food lion I shop at and the family dollar  I frequent. These people seem to go above the call to assist you or help in any way, and talking to them is such a pleasant thing, having so many things in common and many of the same cares and such. I think that this can be classified as having a relationship, albeit brief, but relationship nonetheless.  I would go as far to say that I choose their place of biz because of the great customer service and pleasant, positive attitude these people display. Communication is such and important part of a successful relationship no matter what type of relationship it is.  Jesus Christ made that  so clear in many ways and I want to discuss a few.  During His earthly ministry, He was constantly talking about how things are in the Kingdom of GOD, or the Kingdom of Heaven and although many times He used parables, we can agree that He talked. To anyone an all who had an ear (heart) to hear Him. Many people talked back to Him with questions they wanted answers for, requests for healings, or to simply be in His Presence (Praise GOD). Even little children wanted to talk to Him or be with Him. Talking to God is what HE wants from us. Time spent with HIM, communicating with HIM,  is what THE CREATOR  of the universe desires from us. We do this communicating thing so well with the people in our lives and those we come across, yet when it comes to time with our GOD and  FATHER it becomes difficult. John 15 is where I will start to help make a point that Jesus made. Here HE stated it so clearly an a number of times that we are to remain or abide in HIM. Depending on which translation you choose, He says 9  or 10 times to stay in HIM for many great things to occur in your life and devastation if the choice is made to not remain in HIM. I will use KJV and NLT to feast on. Verse 1-3, Jesus tells us who HE is and who the FATHER is and His analogy is to gardening and the maintainence it takes to keep a garden healthy. He uses terms like cutting and pruning all in an effort to bring about a production of fruit. Jesus being the TRUE GRAPEVINE, and we are branches connected to this VINE.His message (THE WORD OF GOD) has caused us to be purified or pruned. He tells us how important it is to  REMAIN or ABIDE in HIM in verses 4-11. We cannot be fruitful without HIM, don't become detached (severed). Much fruit is produced as the branches stay attached to the VINE, and keeping the VINE attached to the branch is also important. Jesus will never leave or forsake us on HIS own.  We have the ability to quiet HIS leading or shut HIM out ourselves. Why on earth would anyone choose to do such a thing is beyond me, however verse 6 is there for a reason.  It states what happens to those who chooses to not remain or abide in HIM. Look what happens when we remain or abide in HIM, and keep HIS WORD, we can ask for what we want and it will be granted! (NLT) Is that awesome or what!! I am rejoicing so much right now in my heart knowing this is a promise from GOD to me. I have experienced  having my prayers and requests answered and let me tell you it is awesome cause, for me, it was a "this had to be GOD", moment or better than that a "GOD hears me an answered my call" moment. Both of these occurances are spectacular spiritual highs I can't even put words to it. GOD hears and responds!!!WOW!!!  PRAISES!!!!GLORY!!! Fruit producing brings Glory to God and HE loves that!! We remain or abide in the SAVIOUR"s love, being obedient and faithful to follow HIS commandments, we will explode with JOY, unspeakable. This chapter goes on with many precious goodnessess (?) from JESUS, read it for yourself and ask GOD to reveal HIMSELF. That is our part, communicating with GOD. Not just prayer, although that is vital, but much simpler than that is something we do well and often, and that is talking. Talk to God like you would a loved one or a close trusted friend. Talk often and continueously to the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, HE loves hearing our voice. HE is our FATHER and just like you love hearing your children's voice, HE is that way as well. We can do this on our own, no pastor, preacher, minister, prayer partner, religious person, spokesperson needed. Talk to HIM. Try it. Have a RELATIONSHIP with HIM where there is communication going on. Try it in your car, shower, while doing yard work,standing in line, on hold on the phone, washing the dog, hitting a baseball,whatever,TALK to HIM. Tell HIM secrets, how you feel about it, why you are angry, happy, sad, disgusted, in love, in hate,whatever TALK TO HIM. Yes HE knows all this stuff already, but TALK TO HIM anyway. He longs for us to communicate with HIM. 2Chronicles7:14 is is a verse my church, THE PURSUIT CHURCH, has taken as our mandate.  GOD is speaking and HE calls us HIS people, called by HIS NAME and HE tells us a few simple but important things to do to get HIM to heal our land. The two things I want to focus on in HIS requirements are PRAY and seek HIS FACE. To do these things we must TALK to HIM.  Try it. Read this verse for youself and let it speak to your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-14(KJV) tells us when we call to HIM and seek HIM with all our heart, HE will be found by us and turn away the thing that has held us captive.  HE wants to hear from us and many of the scriptures    tell us so, I have chosen only a few to highlight. Look for them and TALK to GOD about it. Hebrews 11:6 is very familiar  and the part I would like to focus on comes at the end of that verse where it says ...."He rewards those that diligently (sincerely)seek HIM". There are rewards awaiting those of us who seek HIM.WOW!!  WOW!!! That is straight out EPIC!!! GLORY TO THE MOST HIGH!!!  Talk to GOD today and listen for HIS response. He loves, loves, loves, 2-way conversation. Ask (read about) Moses, David, Elijah, Hezikiah, Paul, Abraham, Sarah, Adam, Eve, Job, Jesus just to name a few.  You can't ask these saints, but you can read the GOOD NEWS and learn how the 2-way thing worked with GOD.  Try it for yourself,  start the RELATIONSHIP off right with open communicating to our FATHER. Tell HIM all about it. BE BLESSED!!! GOD loves you,  I  love you, and JESUS is LORD!!!    John 15,   Job 38-42, Psalm103, Psalm 139.

KEEP IT REAL --- WHO DO YOU TRUST?

 From the Wisdom Book of the Holy Scriptures, Proverbs,  we get directions and suggestions and wisdom on living a godly life. If we look to this powerful book of knowledge, we can receive from it ( if we choose to),wisdom and knowledge of how to live here and apply God's Holy Word to our existance.  Doing so has its benefits (Psalm 103 :2-8 kjv). If we keep it real, we don't have to wonder and be confused, about which way to turn in "those" times in our lives, cause HIS word says HE will direct your steps. But do you trust HIM? Let us look into a few of the Proverbs and see how important it is to trust God. When you trust someone or something  you tend to endorse it or support that trust with some sort of action. Sometimes going so far as to brag on, praise it, cheer for it, sing its praises so to speak. Trusting in  it/ person brings out some sort of action indicating a belief in it/person. Who do you trust? Proverbs1: 2-6 kjv , is talking about the wisdom, instruction, justice, judgement  and knowledge of THE WORD. Verse 5 says "a wise man will hear, and will  increase  learning" (Romans 10:17 kjv)"and  man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels". Wisdom will lead you to THE WORD each time and in doing so you will increase knowledge and wisdom.  Isn't that amazing how GOD laid that plan and put it at the fingertips of whosoever. Glory to THE HIGHEST!!!Who do you trust?  Proverbs 2:1-7 is spectacular in all the richness and promises it gives. 1"receive THE WORD and hide the commandments deep within your heart" 2" listen for wisdom and in your heart apply understanding", 3" seek knowledge and ask for understanding",4" understanding that is more valuable than  silver and hidden treasure", 5" you will understand the fear" (reverence; awe) of the LORD and find knowledge of GOD".All this is available to whosoever will take THE WORD and  put it deep inside, and then look at what GOD does, 6 "THE LORD gives wisdom,  from HIS mouth comes knowledge and understanding,"7"  sound wisdom for the righteous is layed up for us"  and" HE is  a buckler for them that walk uprightly"  I meditate these scriptures and realize so much about GOD. It is HIS desire for us to come to HIM and find HIS will for HIS people. HE does not want us to wonder aimlessly down here without HIM. If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life,  and you prayed the prayer, these promises from GOD'S WORD belong to you.  They are lifeblood.  Keep it real!!  Proverbs 3 talks about results as do many of the Proverbs and I will check on a few here. Verse 1 says not to forget the WORD and keep them in the midst of your heart. But why? (Who do you trust?) Length of days,long life, peace shall they add to thee, is what the scriptures say. Add is an action word and it simply means something is going to happen when you add, increase of some type. Here it is meant that doing the first step will make the promise that is made, manifest itself. So keeping GOD's WORD and commands in your heart will bring about length to your days, longer life and peace. BLESS THE WORD OF GOD IT IS LIFEBLOOD!!! Verse 5 is very familiar "trust in the LORD with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding," 6" In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths". The promise here is do the WORD and GOD will bring understanding and direction. Here is where I can say personally that God will direct you into areas you never thought possible.  I am experiencing this in my life and a year ago I would have never thought this would be a path for me. HE is the CREATOR and HE knows HIS property better than all others, GLORY! GLORY! 7" ....fear the LORD and depart from evil," 8 "it shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones". That says that THE WORD in your heart brings health and healing to your bones, one translation say it is medicine to your flesh. That is healing. The WORD has healing powers to all who have hidden it in their hearts. Who do you trust? Keep reading and see how it prospers a believer,brings happiness from its wisdom, grace , mercy,  a steady,  stumble- free walk ,( Imagine that for a minute)  saftey, sweet sleep, protection from danger are among many of these promises. It is worth trusting GOD, and taking HIM at HIS WORD cause HE CANNOT lie. Proverbs 4:18-23 is where I will end. 18 " the believer who has hidden GOD's WORD in their heart can trust that their path is a shining one that gets shinier each day",  19 darkness is the alternative to the opposite, 20" paying attention to GOD"S WORD,21 keeping them in your eyes (reading THE WORD), meditating on them (hearing,seeing, reading). WHY? 22 "THEY ARE LIFE UNTO THOSE THAT FIND THEM AND HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH". The scriptures are soooo much more that words on a page in a book. Believers know that THE WORD on our tongue spoken in FAITH in a situation with THE NAME OF JESUS attached to it brings about a change to that situation. PRAISE GOD!!! HE said that is how it will work and guess what, it works!!!! 23" Keep your heart with all diligence, from it are the issues of life". Your heart is the ground which all fruit is produced from. Good fruit comes from a good and kind heart. I blogged in the past  about a issue I called, HEART CONDITION. I lovingly suggest you read that and search THE WORD OF GOD and discover for yourself how important the heart is in all this. Search the SCRIPTURES anyway, for yourself, GOD IS SPEAKING TO ALL OF US.   Keep it real.  Who do you trust?  GOD is real,  you can trust HIS WORD AND YOU CAN TRUST HIM!!!  Now that's what I call keeping it real. WHAT CAN THE ANSWER BE?

What can the answer possibly be?  Why  is all this happening and what does it mean?  Does it  even have a meaning?  It hurts so much when you look at the devastation and death that has occured as a result of the deadly storms that ran through our nation.The loss of precious loved ones is an ache in the heart that is forever. It can only be comforted by the COMFORTER HIMSELF, nothing else comes close. Psalms 116:15. We cry  out to you Father for mercy. Have mercy on us as you help us rise from these ashes. I am taken into the book of Job in the HOLY WORD as I pray for the pain and heartache this nation is experiencing as a result of the storms, that left this heartache. The enemy was allowed to try Job (he would have anyway, without God's permission) and as a result, he brought Job to the brink,  but that was far enough. Having caused such devastation and pain and health issues in Job's life, his reign of terror ended, with a PRAISER and A WORSHIPPER forever dedicated to GOD ALMIGHTY.  At the time of this terror, Job found it hard and painful to worship God, but he knew that he belonged to God and even though all this loss and pain and devastation was occuring in his life, God was EVERYTHING to him. Job 1:20-21 kjv.  I personally believe that verse 7 is very telling in many ways.  When the enemy answered God  at the meeting he was allowed to attend, he said "from going to and fro in the earth and walking up and down in it".  God had asked satan where you coming from?(today's vanacular).  In my opinion this is telling  because the enemy said where he was. We know he got kicked out of Heaven for trying to buck GOD ALMIGHTY and to earth he came.  Because he hates God, his job is an evil one. Reak  havoc and cause pain and destruction and he does so.  With what is suppose to be a spring storm with a bit of wind, rain,thunder,and some lightning, his hand in it causes it to be devastating, cause he is evil,  coming to kill, steal and destroy.  Kill the eternal hope God has equipped every believer with, steal the ability to believe God and HIS WORD of abundant life, destroy all things created by THE CREATOR  in hopes that GOD'S people will do what Job's wife tried to get him to do,   "curse GOD and die" (Job 2:9).satan is evil and he is the prince of darkness,  he is not bright at all.  As believers, we are aware of the tactics and we KNOW that THE WORD IS A POWERFUL WEAPON in our arsenal (Ephesians 6:10-18). We will recover from this hit and like Job we will be twice as BLESSED  as before, it has been declared and proclaimed in JESUS NAME!!!   One of my favorite songs that feeds into my spiritman in hard times  has words that go like this:  Jesus, You are strength in my weakness, You are refuge I seek, You are everything in my time of need, You are everything I need, Jesus You carry me.  Our Father in heaven is a Restorer,  Refresher, and a Renewer and it is His good pleasure to do so. Seek Him in this hard time of pain, and allow HIM to comfort you from inside out. Psalm 30:11.  I love you and cry out in prayer for you,  GOD LOVES YOU and JESUS IS LORD!!  Psalm 84:6,  Psalm34:18,  Isaiah 61:2-3.

THANK YOU GOD, FOR HELPING ME CROSS THE STREET!!!

When I was a very young child, I can remember an adult holding my hand as we crossed  the street over to the other side. Sometimes that adult would be mama or daddy, uncle, aunt, bigmama, bigdaddy, friend whoever, but what sticks out so much in my mind is the grip they used  to hold my hand. It was tight and snug, I couldn't wiggle out from under it if I tried, they were much stronger. I was safe. I couldn't comprehend (at that age) the danger they were protecting me from or the potential harm that can come at such a time as street crossing. Now in my adult life and in the scarry times I find myself asking GOD  to hold my hand as I "cross the street". Those situations that present themselves with uncertainty and leave more questions than answers, GOD  holds my hand and helps me cross the street. Remember the children of Israel when GOD  brought them out of bondage in Egypt and their journey took them into the wilderness. They had no knowledge of anything except they were now free from the Egyptians. What, where, who, what comes next, was all a great mystery to them and very much uncertain in terms of the future. They had to TRUST and  RELY  on GOD  and HIS plans for them, which was not clear to them. That must have been hard for them, considering what they were coming from and what was familiar to them. So they went forward,  loaded with concerns and worries that caused them to doubt and gripe so much and for so long that they themselves didn't go into the promise land, but their offspring instead. GOD  is saying the same thing now that HE said to them then, (Hebrews 13: 8), and when it is time to" cross the street"  (daily)  I have to reach into the SCRIPTURES buried in my heart and remind myself what GOD  has said. Deuteronomy 31:6 states it clearly;  "be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them; for the LORD thy GOD, HE is the ONE that go with thee; HE will not fail thee nor FORSAKE thee".(nlt,kj). Now that is the best "cross the street" scripture  for me and in my life at such a time as this. Don't be scared, don't let worry in the mix. This day and time that can be difficult, mainly because I am  trying to use  my own  strength and  my  own power to "cross the street," and of course that has caused me  to leave THE CREATOR of ALL things out opting for something else. I slip into that a lot, and when I realize my focus has shifted, "crossing the street" gets scarry. Has that ever happened in your own life? Have you ever thought that you can "fix" things? Well I can answer yes to both of those questions.  Daily, I have to, on purpose, release these concerns to GOD throwing them at Him with my best pitching arm. 1Peter 5:7 states it clear: casting all your cares upon HIM, for  HE careth for you.  GOD,  being my caretaker, and life planner,  why the granny smith apples should I give a fratata.  I can be that little child I talked about earlier, needing my hand held as I "cross the street". HE always says what HE means and means what HE says. THANK YOU GOD, FOR HELPING ME CROSS THE STREET!!! Allow the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE to hold your hand as you "cross lifes streets", giving all cares, worries, fears, over to THE LORD and count it all joy, it will strengthen you.  GOD loves you,  I love you,  and JESUS is LORD!!!  Philippians 4: 4-23,  Psalm 130,   Psalm131.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT IN ALL THE EARTH!!!!

When God said in the beginning, "Let there be.." and from HIS words came forth all creation, (Genesis 1), HIS love has been on display. And since that time throughout ages, eons, days,months, years,decades, centuries, milleniums,before, during, after, ancient of days, and all other time specifications not mentioned here, God's amazing LOVE has been constant. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!!!! When I read THE LOVE BOOK aka THE BIBLE, I can see with spiritual eyes and hear with spiritual ears the LOVE oozing from its pages into a heart HE created and set up to receive from its creator. Years ago I use to rock out to a song called "tell it to my heart" by somebody and that is precisely what God does to HIS. He speaks to the Heart. It is a heart issue and HE communicates to the heart of a matter through the heart. The Scriptures state that " we belong to Christ and have already won the victory (why) cause greater is HE that is in you than he that is in the world"(1John 4:4).We know who is in the world, and the scriptures say we have won if JESUS is on the inside of you, is HE? Love caused a victory for us long before we got here and we still claim it, PRAISE GOD!!! Love has so many attributes connected to it and many are stated in the love chapter of THE LOVE BOOK, 1Corinthians 13, however I am going to go into another direction with LOVE. Part of my title for this posting is THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT IN ALL THE EARTH,and so I shall go along those lines to talk about LOVE. He tells my heart that perfected love casts out fear a tormentor,(1John 4:18) so clearly MY GOD doesn't want me tormented in any sort of way,shape or form. Mentally or physically. Webster's Dictionary defines torment as intense pain or anguish; a source of pain or anguish. God says that LOVE flushes that out. When something gets flushed it is gone. So this perfect love that comes from Heaven has the ability within itself to cast out a tormentor - fear. WOW!! What else on earth can do that? God has manifested this great LOVE toward us when HE sent HIS BELOVED SON into this world to be the unblemish, perfect, nothing missing nothing broken, sacrifice to save the world.(1John 4:9-10, John 3:16).THERE WAS AND IS NOTHING ELSE IN ALL THE EARTH THAT COULD DO. Love is manifested for all who believe that Jesus is the Son of God,and that God loved us that much He made a way for all who believe to have everlasting life.LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Jesus said himself when HE walked the earth in HIS earthly ministry that "God didn't send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through HIM".(John3:17) That sounds like a plan GOD created from the beginning, "a saving the world plan". Much like you plan for retirement when you are in your 20's although retirement is a long way off. That may not be the best example, but it is understandable in terms of plan ahead, which is what our LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER did for us. That is a LOVE plan for all creation. In the interim, God has constantly showed HIS great LOVE. HE commanded HIS love towards us even while we are yet sinners (Romans 5:8). He is rich in mercy,for this great LOVE He has for us, forgives us by grace and saved us and raised us up causing us to sit TOGETHER in HEAVENLY PLACES in CHRIST JESUS. (Ephesians 2:4-6) I have hope cause of HIS great mercy towards me which are new morning by morning, day to day, He is compassionate and faithful. (Lamentations3:21-23). LOVE,LOVE,LOVE, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT IN ALL THE EARTH!!! Read more of Ephesians and see if you can understand how wide, long, deep and high, His LOVE is, it is beyond understanding.Ephesians 3:14-21. I read the LOVE BOOK and when I come across HIS WORDS that speak such things to my heart as " He will deliver me and set me on high because I have set my love on HIM",(Psalm 91:14), I can't help but shout praises and love to HIM.While I can honestly say that my love can be hot and cold, God's LOVE is faithful and true at all times and nothing can take HIS LOVE from me. Romans 8 clearly states that NOTHING, NO THING, shall be able to seperate GOD's LOVE from us. The list of things starting in verse 35-39, list all sorts of things that can happen, attempt to happen, will happen, whatever, but that GOD'S LOVE is massive and nothing can deplete it. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT IN ALL THE EARTH!! WOW!!! What manner of LOVE is this? Jesus said "if you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15,15:17) and to love one another was one of those commandments. Thank God for Grace!!!LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT IN ALL THE EARTH!! I love LOVE!! It is the greatest of these: faith, hope, love. 1Corinthians 13:13. I love you, GOD LOVES YOU,and Jesus is LORD!!! Revelation 1:5.

REFUGE, SHELTER, PROTECTION, SECRETS

Psalm 91 (KJV) starts out by saying "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the AlMighty,I will say of The LORD, He is my refuge, my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.I have come to rely heavely on this Psalm. Since my children were young and we would read and meditate it together through now. Those children are now grown young married women with lives and families of their own and now we all depend on the promises of that Scripture. It is worth pulling it a part, and taking it bit by bit, and with ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, meditate this life-saving Word. Life- Saving, cause for me there are times that life can be a bit overwhelming,challenging,and somewhat difficult, to say the least, so I seek REFUGE,SHELTER and PROTECTION from the only place I know and that is THE SECRET PLACE. All I need for survival is in this place God has welcomed me into. I didn't have to have a certain income level to enter, there were no prerequisites to meet, I was approved right away, it didn't matter that I was on the other side of the railroad tracks, I wore whatever I had, cause He looked at my heart anyway,my hair style was whatever, my nails were so unimportant, my makeup was however, I was allowed in, empty pocketbook and all. So what is REFUGE? Websters Standard Dictionary's definition is a place of safety or shelter. That puts me in the mind of shelter perhaps from a rain storm or a tornado or hurricane of some type. All of which I wouldn't want to be caught in. God must have known that this life would have these kinds of occurrances and so He said He would be refuge for us. In His shelter there are protections that a believer such as you and I can rely on in troubling times. Abiding in God(v1) means staying connected to God, attached to God, obeying God,trusting, resting and believing God in these kinds of times. Thank you God, cause that last statement is for me and you used my own mouth to re- tell it to me. YOU ARE AN AWESOME GOD!!!! Saying of the LORD (v2) He is my refuge my fortress... is vitally important cause the Scriptures tell us the importance of the tongue in all this. Proverbs 18:21 tell us that 2 things come off the tongue, life or death. I can either speak life about me or death about me, it is my choice. Partnered with that is what is in the heart. The Holy Word says that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks".(Matthew 12:34) When the sun is shining, the sky is blue and the mountains have been conquered, balloons are floating in the air, ( you know, in the good times), it is easy to talk good. But for me it is those trying times, when my tears fall, the clouds are dark, the sun is not shining and every problem that is not attached somewhere finds me and attaches itself to my life. That is when I have to more or less be silent cause what is in my heart and what might come off my tongue is not pleasant. I am only speaking of myself, cause it seems that everyone I come in contact with has it all together.WOW!!! Verses 3-9 talks a lot about protection and the many things God protects me from and these protections cover me night and day, shielding me all around being the buckler. One minister I listened to said that a shield would cover a warrior on 3 sides, front, left and right, and the buckler was protection all around the body and up and down. That sounds like God means for me(us) to be covered every which-a-way. Some will fall, they will be near and far or close to me or far from me but because of this protection, it will not come near me although my eyes will see it. God has commanded the angels, and they obey His Word to provide protection from the enemy. God has commanded His love to me as well even knowing I am a sinner (Romans5:8) He gave me a hope. Glory to God!! He says when I call to Him, He will answer me (v15), (Jeremiah 33:3) and never leave me especially in the troubling times, THANK YOU GOD!!! YOU ARE ALL I HAVE WHEN TIMES ARE DIFFICULT!!! I absolutely cannot make it without this relationship with the FATHER. I am lost and can't see clear when I take my eyes off HIM or I let life's distractions move me away. Help Me JESUS!!! Satisfaction and longevity in Christ is 1 of the many promises God gives in this SECRET place of abiding and resting and trusting and faith in Him. For me, this is it. Maybe you all know some other way, without God. I can't point to a specific area of my life and say look at all this success here or look at all this success there. My life is peppered with some successes here and some successes there, more in this area than in that area. I can say that God has never left me without the answer to a situation in due season, and He kept me from falling many times and when I did fall (I can be hard headed at times), He was the ONE that helped or sent help. Thank GOD!!! His GRACE is amazing, and His MERCY lasts forever and all times, THANK YOU GOD!!! So as I started with Psalm 91 and in verse 1 I shall dwell in THE SECRET PLACE OF THE ALMIGHTY come what may. What about you? Peace. I love you. GOD LOVES YOU!!! JESUS IS LORD OVER ALL THIS, AMEN.
